A method and apparatus are provided for making radio frequency (RF) inlays. The RP inlays include an integrated circuit and an antenna affixed to a substrate material carrying the integrated circuit. During processing, portions of the wire forming the antenna are located adjacent to, but not directly over the integrated circuit. In the subsequent processing step, the wire ends are placed in contact with and secured to the integrated circuit terminal areas.

Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de créer des incrustations de radiofréquences (RF). Les incrustations de radiofréquences comprennent un circuit intégré et une antenne fixée à un matériau support contenant le circuit intégré. Pendant le traitement, des parties du câble formant l'antenne sont placées à côté du circuit intégré mais pas directement par dessus celui-ci. Dans l'étape de traitement suivante, les extrémités du câble sont mises en contact avec les pastilles du circuit intégré puis fixées à ces dernières.
