Abstract of the Disclosure A ferrite core (42) for insertion within, and retention by, a connector plug (10) mounted at the end of a transmission line cable (12) interconnecting two electronic equipments. The core (420 is bifuracted along a plane (48) to form two core portions (48', 48"). The core (48) functions to attenuate radio frequency noise closely proximate its source.
