An electronic device is composed of components and a case (100) that houses the components. The electronic device comprises a plurality of types of components (310, 320, 330) to input and/or output data. The case (100) has a plurality of sides, at least one of which has a pattern (120) consisting of a plurality of parallel ridges (121). One of the sides of the case has openings (131, 132, 133) corresponding to components. Two sides (131a, 131b, 132a, 132b, 133a, 133b) of the openings (131, 132, 133) are parallel to the ridges (121).
