The invention relates to a reverse parametric engineering method for the design of tools, characterised in comprising the following steps: importing an existing model [the design of the tool for the existing piece], production of a template for the existing tool, separation of the tool from the piece, cataloguing [saving in the form of a numerical database structured in the form of a catalogue], generating the existing tool using the section lines and characteristic lines, removing the original piece, parameterisation of the template of the existing tool [creation of a parameter profile on the section lines and the characteristic lines], importing the new piece, matching the parameter template to the new piece and creating the new model, in other words the new tool for the new piece.
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé paramétrique d'ingénierie inverse pour la conception d'outillage caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte les étapes consistant à importer un modèle existant [la conception d'outillage existant pour la pièce existante]; réaliser un gabarit de l'outillage existant - séparer l'outillage de la pièce ; cataloguer [sauvegarder dans une base de données numériques structurée sous forme de catalogue] la création de l'outillage existant en utilisant des lignes de section et les lignes caractéristiques ; retirer la pièce originale ; paramétrer le gabarit de l'outillage existant [création d'un profil paramétrique sur les lignes de section et les lignes caractéristiques] ; importer la nouvelle pièce ; faire correspondre le gabarit paramétrique avec la nouvelle pièce ; créer le nouveau modèle, c'est-à-dire le nouvel outillage pour la nouvelle pièce.
