A pack for cigarettes and the like has the action of a conventional "flip-top" hinge-lid pack. Cigarettes (22) inside the pack are arranged with their axes parallel to the axis of pivot ( 10) of the lid (3) and are presented when the lid is open in an enclosure formed by a liner (13) of the pack, with a side wall (16) preventing sideways escape of the cigarettes but with an access opening allowing withdrawal of cigarettes by movement along their axis (24).

L'invention concerne un paquet de cigarettes ou analogue présentant la forme d'un paquet à couvercle articulé "à abattant" classique. Les cigarettes (22) se trouvant à l'intérieur du paquet sont disposées de sorte que leur axe soit parallèle à l'axe du pivot (10) du couvercle (3) et sont présentées, lorsque le couvercle s'ouvre, dans une enceinte formée par une doublure (13) du paquet et comprenant une paroi latérale (16) empêchant une sortie latérale des cigarettes, et une ouverture d'accès permettant le retrait des cigarettes par déplacement le long de leur axe (24).
