Abstract of the Disclosure: A retainer rail for retaining heating tubes of a floor heating comprises a cross-piece forming a support side of the rail and mutually opposite legs attached to the cross-piece and facing away therefrom substantially in a U-shaped fashion. The legs have mutually opposite openings formed therein for receiving heating tubes transversely to a longitudinal axis of the rail. The rail is provide with intended breaking locations so that the rail may be severed manually in a substantially transverse direction.
