An artificial sweetener composition contains sucralose and optionally a bulking agent such as maltodextrin. The composition is in the form of granules having a size between 30 and 2000 ~m and containing between 0.5 and 1.5 wt% moisture. Any process can be used for making the compositions, with one especially applicable one involving pressing a powdered feed containing the raw materials between rolls to form a densified mass. The densified mass is then broken down in size and optionally fractionated by particle size.

L'invention concerne une composition d'édulcorant artificiel qui contient du sucralose et éventuellement un diluant de type maltodextrine. Cette composition se présente sous forme de granules présentant une taille comprise entre 30 et 2000 ?m et contenant entre 0,5 et 1,5% en poids d'humidité. Tout procédé peut être mis en oeuvre pour la production desdites compositions, l'un en particulier consistant à compresser une matière d'alimentation en poudre contenant les matières premières entre des rouleaux de manière à former une masse densifiée. Ladite masse densifiée est ensuite broyée afin de présenter une certaine taille et éventuellement fractionnée afin d'obtenir une certaine taille particulaire.
