A method is provided for making a perfluorinated vinyl ether having a sulfonyl fluoride end-group according to the formula FSO2#191-(CF2#191)n#191-O- CF=CF2#191, where n is 2-5, comprising the steps of: a) fluorination of: (PLEASE INSERT THE CHEMICAL FORMULA HERE AS IT APPEARS IN THE PAPER COPY) to produce FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n-1)#191 COF; b) reaction of FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n- 1)#191 COF with hexafluoropropylene oxide (HFPO) to produce FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n)#191 O-CF(CF3#191)-COF; c) reaction of FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n)#191 O- CF(CF3#191)-COF with a salt of a metal cation M+p , where p is the valence of M, to produce (FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n)#191 O-CF(CF3#191)-COO-)p#191M+p; and d) thermal cracking of FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n)#191 O-CF(CF3#191)- COO-)p#191M+p to produce FSO2#191 (CF2#191)(n)#191 O-CF=CF2.#191

La présente invention a trait à un procédé pour la préparation d éthers vinyliques perfluorés comportant un groupe terminal sulfonyle fluorure de formule FSO¿2?-(CF¿2?)¿n?-O-CF=CF¿2?, dans laquelle n est compris entre 2 et 5, comportant les étapes suivantes : a) la fluoration de (I) en vue d'obtenir FSO¿2?-(CF¿2?)¿(n-1)?-COF ; b) la réaction de FSO¿2?-(CF¿2?)¿(n-1)?-COF avec de l'oxyde hexafluoropropylène (HFPO) pour obtenir FSO¿2?-(CF¿2?)¿(n)?-O-CF(CF¿3?)-COF ; c) la réaction de FSO¿2?-( CF¿2?)¿(n)?-O-CF(CF¿3?)-COF avec un sel de cation métallique M?+¿p, où p est la valence de M, pour obtenir (FSO¿2?-(CF2)¿(n)?-O-CF(CF¿3?)-COO?-¿)¿p?M+p; et d) le craquage thermique de FSO¿2?-( CF¿2?)¿(n)?-O-CF(CF¿3?)-COO?-¿)¿p?M?+¿p pour obtenir FSO¿2?-( CF¿2?)¿(n)?-O-C=CF¿2?.?¿
