A cavity filter (8) includes a cavity (10) constituting an electrically conductive enclosure (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22), at least one resonator element (24-1,...24-n) constructed from a dielectric material, and a support (30) constructed from a relatively low loss dielectric support material for supporting the at least one resonator element (24-1,...24-n) in a desired orientation in the cavity (10). The support material has substantially higher thermal conductivity than the dielectric material.

Le filtre à cavité (8) comprend une cavité (10) constituant une enveloppe conductrice d'électricité (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22), au moins un élément de résonateur (24-1,...24-n) construit à partir d'un matériau diélectrique et un support (30) construit à partir d'un matériau de support diélectrique à perte relativement faible servant à porter au moins un élément de résonateur (24-1,...24-n) dans une orientation souhaitée dans la cavité (10). Le matériau de support présente une conductivité thermique pratiquement supérieure à celle du matériau diélectrique.
