A tethered interconnection assembly (50) supplies an antimicrobial fluid to interior passages of an endoscope during a microbial decontamination cycle. The tethered connection assembly includes tube assemblies (56) with fittings (60, 62, 64) which are uniquely configured for interconnection with an appropriate one of a high pressure port (28), a low pressure port (28), and optionally a leak detector port (36). Fittings (74) at the other end of the tube assemblies are configured for interconnection with appropriate corresponding ports of the endoscope. The tube assemblies (56) are interconnected by a tether (52) to which plurality of plugs (58) for plugging appropriate ports of the endoscope are also connected. A tag (54) identifies the model(s) of endoscope that the tethered connection assembly is to be used with and provides a diagram showing the proper interconnection pattern.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif de raccordement (50) distribuant un liquide antimicrobien dans la lumière d'un endoscope au cours d'un cycle de décontamination microbienne. Ce dispositif comprend des conduits (56) dotés de raccords (60, 62, 64) conçus de manière unique pour se fixer au raccord d'un orifice (28) à haute pression, d'un orifice (28) à faible pression et, facultativement, d'un orifice permettant la détection de fuites (36). Les raccords (74) situés à l'autre extrémité des conduits sont conçus de manière à pouvoir être connectés aux orifices correspondants de l'endoscope. Ces conduits (56) sont reliés par un élément d'assemblage (52) auquel sont connectés plusieurs obturateurs (58) destinés à fermer les orifices correspondants de l'endoscope. Une étiquette (54) permet d'identifier le modèle de l'endoscope avec lequel le dispositif de raccordement assemblé doit être utilisé et fournit un diagramme présentant le schéma d'interconnection.
