The device is used for cleaning a fluid conduit of a whirlpool. The device comprises an elongated tube to be set within the conduit and the tube is provided with a plurality of perforations along its length. The tube has an inlet for receiving a cleaning liquid under pressure, such as hot water, into the tube and thereby causing the cleaning liquid to be sprayed through the perforations inside the fluid conduit of the whirlpool during a cleaning operation mode. The device also comprises a liquid inlet valve for controlling a flow of the cleaning liquid through the inlet and a drain valve for directing the cleaning liquid sprayed into the conduit towards a drain. The present invention also relates to a whirlpool provided with such a device for cleaning its fluid conduit and a method thereof. The device and the method allow to clean rapidly the fluid conduit of a whirlpool without requiring use of a great amount of detergent.
