A proton-conductive gel which has a high ionic conductivity at around room temperature, can be easily made to have a reduced thickness and an increased size, and is capable of imparting excellent suitability for practical use to products such as a fuel cell. The gel comprises a dispersed phase comprising molecular chains of a phosphoric acid salt and a dispersion medium comprising water.
