A support for the lower leg of a snowboarder comprises a vertical back leg supported which pivots about a pin, rod or bolt which is, in turn, fastened to two vertical support arms. Support arms are mounted on the heel cup of soft shell binding system. This support permits an even distribution of pressure on the back of the lower leg of a snowboarder.
