The present invention embraces antiperspirant compositions with improved efficacy. These compositions contain an aluminum or aluminum-zirconium antiperspirant salt and a water soluble calcium salt, both of which are suspended in a dermatologically acceptacle anhydrous carrier vehicle. The present invention also embraces a method of inhibiting or reducing perspiration by topically applying an effective amount of such an antiperspirant composition to the skin.

La présente invention concerne des compositions antisudorales présentant une efficacité améliorée. Ces compositions renferment un sel antisudoral à base d'aluminium ou d'aluminium-zirconium ainsi qu'un sel de calcium hydrosoluble, lesquels sont mis en suspension dans un excipient anhydre acceptable d'un point de vue dermatologique. La présente invention concerne également un procédé permettant de réduire ou d'inhiber la transpiration, ce procédé consistant à appliquer de manière topique une quantité efficace de ladite composition antisudorale sur la peau.
