An encoded packet transmission/reception device includes a conversion unit (103) for receiving a packet encoded with a predetermined compression ratio, re-encoding the packet data obtained by decoding the packet data inputted with a compression ratio different from the predetermined compression ratio so as to create a packet, and outputting the created packet, a delay addition unit (105) for adding a predetermined delay to the packet outputted from the conversion unit (103) and controlling the transmission, and a multiplexing unit (106) for multiplexing the packet encoded with the predetermined compression ratio and the packet encoded with the compression ratio different from the predetermined compression ratio and outputting the multiplexed transmission packet.
Cet émetteur/récepteur de paquets codés comporte une unité de conversion (103) recevant un paquet codé ayant un taux de compression prédéfini, codant à nouveau les données du paquet obtenues par décodage des données relatives au paquet, entré avec un taux de compression différent du taux de compression prédéfini, de façon à constituer un paquet et sortant celui-ci. Il comporte également une unité d'addition (105), ajoutant un retard prédéfini au paquet sorti par l'unité de conversion (103) et commandant l'émission, ainsi qu'une unité de multiplexage (106), multiplexant le paquet codé au taux de compression prédéfini et le paquet codé au taux de compression différent du premier et sortant le paquet multiplexé à transmettre.
