A sound or ultrasound sensor having a radiation characteristic with a preferably small beam angle and producing very little interference signals, including a pot-shaped housing (1) closed at the bottom by a floor (3) , a piezoelectric element (5) for producing and/or receiving sound or ultrasound through the floor (3), a matching layer (7) between the piezoelectric element (5) and the floor (3), and a metal ring (9) gripping around the matching layer (7) with an interlocking fit.

L'invention concerne un capteur de sons ou ultrasons présentant une caractéristique de rayonnement avec un angle d'ouverture faible de préférence, et émettant peu de signaux parasites si possible. Ledit capteur comporte un boîtier (1) fermé à la manière d'un pot par la base (3), un élément piézoélectrique (5) destiné à produire et/ou recevoir des sons ou ultrasons par la base (3), une couche d'adaptation (7) entre l'élément piézoélectrique (5) et la base (3), et une bague métallique (9) entourant étroitement la couche d'adaptation (7).
