A minicell display method has been developed which has significant advantages for screening peptide libraries for candidate that can bind and effectively modulate a particular biological process. The method, based on the small, anucleate minicell, has increased versatility in generating unique sequences to screen as well as increasing the size of the peptides to be screened. In vivo mutagenesis, at the level of protein synthesis, as well as DNA replication, increases diversification of the library to be screened and therefore substantially increases the number of potential peptides that can modulate a particular biological response or mechanism.

L'invention concerne l'élaboration d'un procédé d'affichage de minicellule présentant des avantages considérables pour le balayage de bibliothèques de peptides, aux fins de recherche de candidats pouvant se lier et moduler de manière efficace un processus biologique particulier. Le procédé, fondé sur la petite minicellule anucléée, présente une polyvalence accrue dans la production de séquences uniques à balayer, ainsi que dans l'augmentation de la taille des peptides à balayer. Une mutagenèse In vivo, au niveau de la synthèse protéique, ainsi qu'une réplication de l'ADN, augmentent la diversification de la bibliothèque à balayer et augmentent sensiblement, par conséquent, le nombre de peptides potentiels pouvant moduler une réponse ou un mécanisme biologique particulier.
