A solder ball terminal includes a body portion, a spherical socket disposed at one end of the body portion, the spherical socket including an interior wall terminating in an annular lip, wherein the annular lip defines an opening of the spherical socket and a solder ball disposed within the socket such that a portion of the solder ball extends through the opening and beyond the annular lip.

L'invention concerne une borne à bille de soudure comportant une partie corps, une douille sphérique à une extrémité de ladite partie. La douille sphérique est pourvue d'une paroi interne se terminant en lèvre annulaire. Cette dernière définit une ouverture de ladite douille. Enfin, une bille de soudure est placée dans la douille de façon qu'une partie de cette bille traverse l'ouverture au delà de la lèvre annulaire.
