Compounds of formula (I, II, or III), wherein X is OH; Y is OH, H, lower alkyl of one to six carbons or heteroatoms or F; Z and Z' are independently H, lower alkyl or Q3Si where Q is lower alkyl or aryl; n is 3-50; n' is 2-50; A and B are independently a) alkyl of one to ten carbons or heteroatoms, b) aryl of four to ten carbons or heteroatoms, c) cyclic of three to ten carbons or heteroatoms, or moieties of the formulas (d, e, or f); R1-R11 groups are each independently hydrogen, alkyl of one to ten carbons or heteroatoms, aryl of 4 to 14 carbons or heteroatoms, arylalkyl of five to twenty carbons or heteroatoms; unsubstituted carbonyl or substituted carbonyl. Heteroatoms are nitrogen, oxygen, silicon or sulfur. At least one of A or B, or both A and B are d), e), or f). The compounds of formula (I) inhibit protease enzymes and can be used as pharmaceuticals.

L'invention concerne des composés répondants à la formule I, II ou III: où X est OH; où Y est OH, H, un alkyl inférieur¿ ?possédant de un à six atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone, ou bien F; où Z et Z' sont indépendamment H, un alkyl inférieur ou Q¿3?Si où Q est un aryl ou un alkyl inférieur; où n est 3 - 50; où n' est 2 - 50; où A et B sont indépendamment a) un alkyl possédant de un à six atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone; b) un aryl possédant de quatre à dix atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone; et c) un composé cyclique possédant de deux à dix atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone, ou des fractions répondant aux formules d), e) ou f), où chacun des groupes R?1¿-R?11¿ est indépendamment un hydrogène, un alkyl possédant de un à dix atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone, un aryl possédant de quatre à quatorze atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone, un arylalkyl possédant de cinq à vingt atomes ou hétéroatomes de carbone; un carbonyle substitué ou non substitué. Les héteroatomes sont représentés par le nitrogène, l'oxygène, le silicone ou le soufre. Au moins un des A et B, ou bien les deux, sont d), e) ou f). Les composés répondant à la formule (I) inhibent les enzymes de la protéase et peuvent être utilisés comme des médicaments.
