The invention relates to a protection device intended for reducing the risk and effect of hand and arm injuries during, for example, sporting activities. The protection device comprises a gripping element (2) arranged to be placed at the palmar side of the hand in such a way that at least some of the fingers of the hand can optionally be closed around the gripping element (2) or alternatively be opened and release the grip about the gripping element (2), that the gripping element (2) is so shaped and placed in the hand that the user is influenced to clench the hand around it when, for example, falling and that the gripping element (2) is formed to allow good freedom of movement for the hand so that desired articles can be gripped.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection destiné à diminuer le risque de se blesser la main et le bras, par exemple en pratiquant une activité sportive. Le dispositif de protection comprend un élément de préhension (2) prévu pour être placé du côté de la paume de la main de manière à ce qu'au moins certains doigts de la main puissent se fermer autour de cet élément de préhension (2) ou au contraire relâcher la prise sur cet élément de préhension (2). L'élément de préhension (2) a une forme et une position sur la main pour que l'utilisateur soit incité à serrer la main autour de cet élément, par exemple, en cas de chute et l'élément de préhension (2) est, par ailleurs, réalisé pour laisser à la main une grande liberté de mouvement et pour permettre à l'utilisateur d'avoir une bonne prise sur les articles qu'il saisit.
