A sectional upward acting pinch resistant door (20) including plural door sections (22) interconnected by hinges and supporting guide members (32) on opposite side edges of each section (22) for moving the door (20) between open and closed positions along spaced apart guide tracks (28, 30). The door sections (22) are formed from folded metal panels (34) defining an outer wall (38) of each section (22), opposed top (44) and bottom (54) walls which are curved to provide a pinch resistant connection between door sections (22) and upper (46) and lower (56) inner walls. The upper inner wall (46) includes a socket (50) for receiving a hinge assembly (62) including an elongated hinge plate (65) which is snap fitted into assembly with plural self- lubricating polymer hinge bearing members (63a, b) which fit within the socket (50). Spaced apart end stiles (38a) and center or intermediate stiles (36) support the panel member and transfer the weight of the door sections (22) and other loads between sections at the hinge bearing members (63a, b).
L'invention concerne une porte qui se relève (20), à plusieurs sections (22) séparées par des charnières évitant les pincements. Des rails de guidage (32) sont placés sur les bords des côtés opposés de chaque section (22), ce qui permet d'ouvrir et de fermer la porte (20) en activant un mouvement le long des rails de guidage espacés (28, 30). Lesdites sections (22) sont des panneaux métalliques plissés (34) qui définissent pour chaque section (22) une paroi externe (38), des parois supérieure (44) et inférieure (54) opposées incurvées pour assurer un assemblage évitant les pincements entre sections (22), et des parois internes supérieure (46) et inférieure (56). La paroi interne supérieure (46) comprend un raccord (50) qui permet de recevoir un ensemble charnière (62), y compris une lame de charnière allongée (65) qui est assemblée par emboîtement avec plusieurs coussinets de charnière polymères autolubrifiants (63a, b) adaptables dans le raccord (50). Des montants espacés placés aux extrémités (38a) et en position centrale ou intermédiaire (36) soutiennent les sections (22) et transfèrent au niveau des coussinets de charnière (63a, b) le poids des différentes sections de la porte et autres charges entre ces sections.
