- 18 - SUSPENDED LOOPED CONDUIT MASS FLOWMETER Abstract of the Disclosure A mass flowmeter comprises a conduit (26) with a looped midsection (28) of 360 degree loop angle disposed intermediate and supported by an inlet section (29) and an outlet section (30) of the conduit (26) extending respectively from the extremities thereof supported by a spacer (31), wherein a section of the inlet section (29) and a section of the outlet section (30) adjacent to the looped midsection (28) are disposed at a close proximity to one another and tied together by a clip (32). An electromagnetic vibrator (33) exerts a vibratory force to the tied-together section of the combination of the inlet and outlet sections (29 and 30) including the clip (32), and a pair of motion sensors (34 and 35) respectively included in the two opposite halves of the looped midsection (28) of the conduit (26) provides information, from which the mass flow rate of media moving through the conduit (26) is determined.
