A method and a device for the treatment of wounds and promotion of wound healing and muscle regeneration. The method includes applying a composition including a non-biodegradable microsphere with a substantial surface charge to the subject. The device further includes a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a container for containing the composition and the carrier. The microspheres used in the present invention have been shown to promote wound healing and muscle regeneration both in vivo and in vitro.

L'invention concerne une méthode et un dispositif de traitement de lésions et de stimulation de la cicatrisation de lésions et de régénération des muscles. La méthode consiste à appliquer aux sujets une composition comprenant une microsphère biodégradable à charge de surface substantielle. Le dispositif comprend également un excipient acceptable sur la plan pharmaceutique ainsi qu'un récipient destiné à contenir la composition et l'excipient. On a démontré que les microsphères utilisées dans la présente invention stimulent la cicatrisation de lésions et la régénération de muscles à la fois in vivo et in vitro.
