The invention concerns a method for preparing and forming an easy gripable and flat lying retortable lid having a lid ring (2) extending radially outside in a curl shape adapted to be seamed to a body flange of a container body, and extending radially inside in a substantially flat flange, sealed with an edge ring (3b) of a central foil (3), covering an inner opening (8) of the lid ring, radially inside of the inner end of the flat flange (2b). The central foil having a tab (10) extending from a radially outer end radially inside, and lying substantially parallel and close to an upper surface of the central foil (3). The tab has two radially extending portions, an outer one (10a) and an inner one (10b). The inner portion (10b) rising axially upward, during a press or squeeze operation (Fax; 30, 40) in an intermediate portion (10c) between the inner and outer portions, to force the inner portion (10b) away from the foil surface and keep the outer portion substantially parallel to the foil. The lid is concerned as well. The lid comprises a lid ring and a lid foil, which work together and are coupled together by a sealing portion which seals in ring-like fashion the membrane to a panel of the lid ring.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer et former un couvercle souple, pouvant être facilement saisi et reposant à plat, présentant un anneau de couvercle (2) s'étendant radialement vers l'extérieur sous la forme d'une boucle, conçu pour être serti sur une bride de corps d'un corps de contenant, et s'étendant radialement vers l'intérieur en une bride sensiblement plate, scellée avec l'anneau de bord (3b) d'une feuille centrale (3), recouvrant une ouverture interne (8) de l'anneau de couvercle, radialement à l'intérieur de l'extrémité interne de la bride plate (2b). La feuille centrale possède une patte (10) s'étendant à partir d'une extrémité radialement externe radialement à l'intérieur, et reposant sensiblement parallèlement à une surface supérieure de la feuille centrale (3) et proche de celle-ci. La patte comporte deux parties s'étendant radialement, une partie externe (10a) et une partie interne (10b). La partie interne (10b) s'élève axialement vers le haut, durant une opération de pression ou de torsion (Fax; 30, 40) dans une partie intermédiaire (10c) entre les parties interne et externe, de façon à forcer la partie interne (10b) à s'éloigner de la surface de feuille et à maintenir la partie externe sensiblement parallèle à la feuille. Le couvercle est également concerné. Le couvercle comporte un anneau de couvercle et une feuille de couvercle, qui fonctionnent ensemble et sont couplés l'un à l'autre par une partie de scellement étanche qui scelle de façon étanche, à la façon d'un anneau, la membrane à un panneau de l'anneau de couvercle.
