A metal tube for use in a carburizing gas atmosphere, which comprises a Cu- rich layer having a Cu concentration of 0.1 atomic % or more and a thickness of 0.3 nm or more in the surface portion thereof, and comprises a base material having an alloy composition, in mass %, wherein Cr: 15 to 35 %, Ni: 30 to 75 %, Al: 0.001 to 10 %, and Cu: 0.01 to 10 %. The metal tube may further comprise an oxide scale layer containing Cr as a main component and having a Cr content of 50 % or more or an oxide scale layer containing Cr and Al as main components and having a total content of (Cr + Al) of 50 % or more, on the outside of the above Cu-rich layer, and may still further comprise a second oxide scale layer containing Si as a main component and having a Si content of 50 % or more, between the above oxide scale layer and the above Cu- rich layer. The above metal tube has a function of shielding the base material from a carburizing gas, and is excellent in the resistance to metal dusting, to carburizing and to coking.
Tube en métal destiné à être utilisé dans une atmosphère de gaz de cémentation, lequel comprend une couche riche en Cu ayant une concentration en Cu supérieure ou égale à 0,1 % atomique et une épaisseur supérieure ou égale à 0,3 nm dans la portion de surface de celui-ci et comprend un matériau de base ayant une composition d'alliage, en % en poids, dans laquelle Cr : 15 à 35 %, Ni : 30 à 75 %, Al : 0,001 à 10 % et Cu : 0,01 à 10 %. Le tube en métal peut en plus comprendre une couche de calamine contenant Cr comme composant principal et ayant une teneur en Cr supérieure ou égale à 50 % ou une couche de calamine contenant Cr et Al comme composants principaux et ayant une teneur totale en (Cr + Al) supérieure ou égale à 50 %, sur l'extérieur de la couche riche en Cu ci-dessus et peut encore en plus comprendre un seconde couche de calamine contenant Si comme composant principal et ayant une teneur en Si supérieure ou égale à 50 %, entre la couche de calamine ci-dessus et la couche riche en Cu ci-dessus. Le tube en métal ci-dessus a une fonction d'écran pour le matériau de base vis-à-vis d'un gaz de cémentation et il est excellent en termes de résistance à la formation de poussières métalliques, à la cémentation et à la cokéfaction.
