An operator system and related methods for automatically controlling access barriers including a controller associated with at least one access barrier and a transceiver associated with the controller for transmitting and receiving operational signals. The system also includes at least one proximity device capable of communicating operational signals with the transceiver based upon a position of the proximity device with respect to the barrier, wherein the controller monitors the operational signals and controls the position of the access barrier based upon the operation signals. Such a system allows for hands-free operation of the access barrier. Ground loop detectors and a global positioning system may also be incorporated into the system. And the system may be used to control the directional flow of traffic on a one-way road.
La présente invention concerne un système opérateur et des procédés associés permettant de commander automatiquement des barrières d'accès comprenant un contrôleur associé avec au moins une barrière d'accès et un émetteur récepteur associé à ce contrôleur enfin d'émettre de recevoir des signaux opérationnels. Ce système comprend aussi au moins un dispositif de proximité capable de communiquer des signaux opérationnels à l'émetteur récepteur fondé sur une position de ce dispositif de proximité par rapport à la barrière, le contrôleur surveillant les signaux opérationnels et commandant la position de la barrière d'accès à partir de ces signaux de fonctionnement. Ce système permet de faire fonctionner sans les mains la barrière d'accès. Des détecteurs au niveau du sol et un système de positionnement par satellite peuvent aussi être incorporés dans ce système. Ce système peut être utilisé pour commander le flux directionnel du trafic sur une route à une seule voie.
