The invention provides a method and apparatus for measuring the gas bubble content of a flowing fluid on a continuous basis without extracting a sample of the fluid. A flowing fluid flows into a density sensor, with pressure sensors disposed at the entrance and exit of the density sensor, and a temperature sensor disposed at the inlet above the pressure sensor to measure density, pressure and temperature of the flowing fluid, respectively. An operating panel supplies required constant data regarding the fluid and gas. A data processor calculates the gas bubble content using the above information in accordance with a predetermined formula.
