The process of manufacturing spheroidal shaped granules using mixture of liquid food colour (i.e. FD and C dyes, acid dyes, D and C dyes, synthetic dyes and blends of synthetic dyes) which is first spray dried, then pulverized, then blended with water to form noodles which are cut into an uniform size. These uniform sized noodles are then subjected to a spherodizer containing a bowl with a plate bottom wherein the noodles are subjected to a centrifugal action which makes the noodles to collide with the wall of the bowl and return back. This continuous action of hit and cut transforms the noodles into spheroidal shaped granules which are then dried and sieved in a vibratory sifter to obtain spheroidal granules having, high rate solubility, do not disintegrate into dust form, are easier to handle.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de granulés de forme sphéroïdale faisant appel à un mélange de colorants alimentaires liquides (colorants FD et C, colorants acides, colorants D et C, colorants synthétiques et mélanges de colorants synthétiques). Ledit mélange est tout d'abord desséché par vaporisation, puis pulvérisé, puis mélangé à de l'eau afin de former des <= spaghettis >= qui sont coupés de sorte à obtenir des morceaux de taille régulière. Ces morceaux de spaghettis de taille régulière sont ensuite passés dans un sphérodiseur contenant un récipient à fond plat où les morceaux de spaghettis sont soumis à une force centrifuge qui provoque des collisions entre ces morceaux et la paroi du récipient. Cette action continuelle de collision et de coupe, transforme les morceaux de spaghettis en granulés de forme sphéroïdale qui sont ensuite séchés et tamisés dans un tamis vibrant afin d'obtenir des granulés de forme sphéroïdale, présentant un fort taux de solubilité. Ces granulés ne se désintègrent pas en poussière et sont faciles à manipuler.
