A zipper closure strip for attachment to the top of a formed, filled and sealed package is provided. The zipper strip has a pair of interlocking profile members that extend from bowed webs which conform generally to the cross section of the top of the filled package. The strip may thus straddle the top of the package, gable fashion, and be bonded to the top of the package by heat seals, adhesive or the like. A slider seats on the profile members for urging them into engagement or forcing them apart. A blade protrudes through the slider from a plunger to enable the film at the top of the package beneath the closure strip to be slit. The zipper may be cuffed to expose the top end of the package to facilitate opening.
Bande de fermeture à glissière pour fixation au bord supérieur d'un emballage formé, rempli et scellé. La bande de fermeture comporte une paire d'éléments profilés s'imbriquant l'un dans l'autre et s'étendant à partir de feuilles arquées se conformant généralement à la coupe transversale du bord supérieur de l'emballage rempli. La bande peut ainsi être à cheval sur le bord supérieur de l'emballage, en pignon, et y être assujettie par thermosoudage, adhésif ou autre moyen du genre. Un curseur est assis sur les éléments profilés pour les mettre en prise l'un sur l'autre ou les séparer. Une lame sort du curseur poussée par un piston pour couper la pellicule au bord supérieur de l'emballage sous la bande de fermeture. La fermeture à glissière peut comporter un rabat permettant d'exposer le bord supérieur de l'emballage pour en faciliter l'ouverture.
