Process for the preparation of unsubstituted or substituted 2-amino- [1,2,4]triazolopyrimidines which comprises combining A) 2-amino-pyrimidine or its derivatives with alkyloxycarbonyl isothiocyanate or aryloxycarbonyl isothiocyanate with B) hydroxyl ammonium salt and a base wherein the reaction is carried out in a polar aprotic organic solvent in the temperature range of from 40 to 150 ~C.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de 2-amino-[1,2,4]triazolopyrimidines substituées ou non substituées consistant à combiner : A) une 2-amino-pyrimidine ou ses dérivés et un alkyloxycarbonyl isothiocyanate ou un aryloxycarbonyl isothiocyanate avec B) un sel d'hydroxylammonium et une base, la réaction étant effectuée dans un solvant organique aprotique polaire dans la plage de températures comprise entre 40 et 150 ·C.
