Disclosed is forming a secure golf club gripping style using only the limbs of a body. A limb-only golf swing is thereafter produced using the formed grip, thus eliminating extraneous influences upon said golf swing, including but not limited to golf clubs and other golf equipment that can cause change and/or inconsistency in said swing. Also disclosed is a method of fitting equipment based on limb-only swing performance. One step comprises reproducing the limb- only golf swing as accurately as possible when any club is swung. Another step further comprises fitting the golf club to obtain any desired golf ball travel, wherein the swing performance attained in the prior fitting step is maintained as the principle priority in order to achieve the best overall swing performance and equipment fit. Hence, at least one golf club or other piece of equipment may be produced to any equipment specification(s) determined during the fitting process.

L'invention concerne une formation d'un type de prise ferme d'un club de golf faisant uniquement appel aux membres d'un corps. Un swing de golf faisant uniquement appel aux membres est ainsi produit en utilisant la prise formée, ce qui permet ainsi d'éliminer les influences extérieures sur ledit swing de golf, comprenant de façon non exhaustive, les clubs de golf et autres équipements de golf qui peuvent provoquer un changement et/ou une irrégularité dans ledit swing. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant d'adapter l'équipement en se basant sur une performance de swing utilisant uniquement les membres. Une étape consiste à reproduire le swing de golf faisant uniquement appel aux membres de façon aussi précise que possible lorsque le club est balancé. Une autre étape consiste à adapter le club de golf en vue d'obtenir une trajectoire de balle de golf souhaitée, ladite performance de swing obtenue dans l'étape d'adaptation précédente est conservée en tant que priorité de principe afin d'obtenir la meilleure performance de swing globale et l'adaptation de l'équipement. Ainsi, au moins un club de golf ou une autre pièce d'équipement peut être produit conformément à la (aux) spécification(s) d'équipement déterminée(s) au cours du procédé d'adaptation.
