The pipe forming apparatus provides for pressurizing of the closed cavities defined between the pipe corrugations and an inner wall of the pipe. Each pipe corrugation is pierced by a piercing member while the corrugation is being molded. A pressure media is introduced into the cavity to force the forming corrugation against the molding surface of the mold block and the inner wall against the cooling plug. This apparatus have particular application for the large diameter pipe.
