ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for the purpose of preventing injuries to fingers when conventional house-hold doors are closed. The device which attaches to conventional house-hold doors, having a frame which is secured to the door jamb hinge side, embodying a guard which is hinged to the frame, with a spring providing continuous pressure of the guard to the door. The guard covering the hinge area is of sufficient width to cover the gap of the door hinge area, from the closed position, to the wide open position. The device is simple to install, and would protect many fingers from being injured, or permanently damaged.
