The invention relates to a method for producing an alkene oxide, comprising at least the following steps: (i) preparation of a stream (S1) containing compressed liquid alkene; (ii) expansion of at least part of the stream (S1) by heat absorption and at least partial evaporation of the liquid alkene; (iii) reaction of the alkene obtained according to step (ii) with a hydroperoxide in the presence of at least one solvent and at least one catalyst to obtain a mixture containing alkene oxide and the solvent(s).

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un oxyde d'alcène, comprenant au moins les étapes (i), (ii) et (v) qui consistent : (i) à préparer un flux (S1) contenant un alcène liquide comprimé ; (ii) à décomprimer au moins une partie du flux, par absorption de chaleur et évaporation, au moins partielle, de l'alcène liquide ; (v) à faire réagir l'alcène obtenu au cours de l'étape (ii) avec un hydroperoxyde, en présence d'au moins un solvant ainsi que d'au moins un catalyseur, pour obtenir un mélange contenant un oxyde d'alcène et le(s)dit(s) solvant(s).
