The invention concerns receivers for positioning by satellites. To increase the speed measurement reliability of the receiver, it is proposed that the divergence between the effected measurements on n satellite main axes (n>4) be measured and that an alarm is given if this divergence exceeds a predetermined threshold. The divergence is measured by the root mean square deviation between the computed speed vector and the speeds as measured along the main axes and projected on the computed speed vector.

L'invention concerne les récepteurs de positionnement par satellites. Pour accroître la fiabilité des mesures de vitesse par le récepteur, on propose de mesurer la divergence entre les mesures effectuées sur n axes directeurs de satellites (n>4) et de fournir une alarme si cette divergence dépasse un seuil prédéterminé. La divergence est mesurée par l'écart quadratique moyen entre le vecteur vitesse calculé et les vitesses telles que mesurées le long des axes directeurs et projetées sur le vecteur vitesse calculé.
