In this drive unit (1) a traction sheave (7) is supported by means of a shaft (15), the shaft (15) being rotatably held in a first bearing (16) and in a second bearing (17). Mounted on a first free end (15.1) of the shaft (15) is a first rotor (9.1) of a first motor (9). Arranged by means of a first cage-housing (9.3) on a first bearing end-plate (3) is the first stator (9.2). Similar applies for a second free-end (15.2) of the shaft (15), a second stator (10.2), and a second cage-housing (10.3) of a second motor (10).
