The object of the invention is a pumping method and arrangement, in which at least two chamber pumps (A, B) are operated in order to achieve a constant output flow. In the pumping procedure and arrangement in question, the entry chamber (110, 130) of the chamber pump is pre-pressurised close to the actual working pressure after the filling stage in order to achieve a constant output flow.
