A thermal decomposition apparatus for plastics wherein plastics are melted and thermally decomposed, and the resulting decomposition gas is cooled for condensation and recovered in the form of a thermal decomposition oil. The apparatus comprises a thermal decomposition reactor for melting and thermally decomposing the plastics therein, an extraneous matter discharge duct having one end opened in a melt of plastics within the reactor, an extraneous matter collecting container connected to the other end of the discharge duct, and an aspirator for aspirating extraneous matter within the reactor together with the melt through the discharge duct into the container.
Appareil de décomposition thermique pour plastiques dans lequel les plastiques sont fondus et décomposés thermiquement et le gaz de décomposition qui en résulte est refroidi aux fins de condensation et récupérés sous la forme d'une huile de décomposition thermique. L'appareil comprend un réacteur de décomposition thermique pour la fusion des plastiques et pour la décomposition thermique, un conduit d'évacuation des matières étrangères ayant une extrémité débouchant sur un bain de fusion des plastiques à l'intérieur du réacteur, un contenant pour la collecte des matières étrangères raccordé à l'autre extrémité du conduit d'évacuation et un aspirateur servant à aspirer les matières étrangères à l'intérieur du réacteur avec la matière en fusion, dans le contenant, à travers le conduit d'évacuation.
