ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE STORAGE CONTAINER FOR A PICK UP TRUCK A container for mounting behind the seat of a pickup truck includes a vertical rear wall, sidewalls spaced by the width of the pickup cab and a front wall which is inclined upwardly and rearwardly so that the container tapers gradually from the base toward a top wall. A door panel is mounted on the front wall and is hinged about a hinge line spaced upwardly from the bottom edge of the front wall so that the door panels can open to a forwardly inclined position along the back of the feet of the cab. The container is formed from a heavy metal and is locked securely by a rod locking system for secure storage of valuables or guns.
