A process and a device for treating a carbon dioxide-containing flue gas stream are described. At least a part of the carbon dioxide present is removed from the flue gas stream by means of a scrubber, forming a low carbon dioxide gas stream and a high carbon dioxide gas stream. The high carbon dioxide and water-saturated gas stream formed from the flue gas stream after removal of the carbon dioxide is cooled by means of a refrigeration system 4 in a heat exchanger 3 below the dew point temperature of the water contained in the gas stream and dried by condensing and separating out the water in a condensate separator 5. The dried gas stream meets the requirements of carbon dioxide products intended for further use.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour le traitement d'un courant de gaz de fumées contenant du dioxyde de carbone. A partir du courant de gaz de fumées, au moins une partie du dioxyde de carbone présent, est éliminée par lavage, avec formation d'un courant gazeux pauvre en dioxyde de carbone et d'un courant gazeux riche en dioxyde de carbone. Le courant gazeux riche en dioxyde de carbone et saturé d'eau, formé après élimination du dioxyde de carbone du courant de gaz de fumées, est refroidi au moyen d'une installation de refroidissement (4), dans un échangeur de chaleur (3), au-dessous de la température de point de rosée de l'eau contenue dans le courant gazeux, et séché par condensation et séparation d'eau dans un séparateur de condensat (5). Le courant gazeux séché satisfait aux exigences formulées pour des produits de dioxyde de carbone prévus pour une utilisation ultérieure.
