The invention relates to an optical regenerator for a differential phase modulated data signal which comprises, in addition to a unit for bit-by-bit gauge leveling, a unit for the regeneration of the phase of individual symbols of the differential phase modulated data signal. After the bit-by-bit gauge leveling, the data signal that is preset in amplitude is divided into a first and a second data signal. Phase errors of individual signals are detected for the first data signal in a phase error detection unit, are transformed into a correction signal, and are conveyed to a phase error correction unit. The second data signal is corrected in the phase error correction unit, depending on the correction signal conveyed thereto in the phase of said data signal, in such a way that a differential phase modulated data signal, regenerated in amplitude and in phase, is delivered at the output of the correction unit.
La présente invention concerne un régénérateur optique pour un signal de données à modulation de phase différentielle qui comprend, outre une unité de nivellement bit par bit, une unité de régénération de la phase des symboles individuels du signal de données à modulation de phase différentielle. Après le nivellement, le signal de données réglé dans son amplitude est divisé en un premier et un second signal de données. Pour le premier signal de données, les erreurs de phase des symboles individuels sont déterminées dans une unité de détermination d'erreur de phase, converties en un signal de correction et fournies à une unité de correction des erreurs de phase. Le second signal de données est corrigé dans sa phase dans l'unité de correction des erreurs de phase en fonction du signal de correction fourni, de sorte qu'est émis, en sortie de l'unité de correction, un signal de données à modulation de phase différentielle régénéré dans son amplitude et dans sa phase.
