A motorized pump is disclosed that includes a flexible diaphragm fitting within a rigid member, a motor drive mechanism for drawing a puller member (48) attached to the diaphragm (70) away from the rigid member to create a space between the diaphragm and the rigid member and form a negative pressure region within that space, and an outlet communicating with the negative pressure region. In one embodiment, the pump provides a negative pressure source for a breast pump that is readily portable by virtue of the soft carrying case within which the diaphragm pump and motor are housed.
L'invention se rapporte à une pompe à moteur comprenant un diaphragme souple s'adaptant à l'intérieur d'un élément rigide, un mécanisme d'entraînement par moteur servant à tirer un élément de traction (48) fixé au diaphragme (70) dans la direction opposée à l'élément rigide afin de créer un espace entre le diaphragme et ledit élément rigide et de former une zone de dépression dans cet espace, ainsi qu'une sortie communiquant avec la zone de dépression. Dans un mode de réalisation, la pompe constitue une source de dépression pour un tire-lait qui peut être aisément transporté grâce à la mallette souple dans laquelle la pompe et son moteur sont logés.
