A cooler for cooling and dehumidifying the inside of equipment including electronic apparatuses installed outdoors. A cooler has a pair of dehumidifying portions for removing moisture in outside air. The dehumidifying portions have filter members and are arranged respectively on the outside-air suction side of and the air discharge side of a housing of an apparatus. When the humidity in the housing reaches a saturated state by ventilation of a fan, the fan is rotated in the reverse direction to change the direction of ventilation relative to an area to be dehumidified. As a result, moisture stored inside a dehumidifying material by being subjected to exhaust air heated and dried by a heat emitting body is discharged to the outside, and moisture absorption capability of the dehumidifying material is recovered.

L'invention concerne un refroidisseur servant à refroidir et à déshumidifier l'intérieur d'un équipement qui comprend des appareils électroniques et est installé à l'extérieur. Un refroidisseur comporte deux parties déshumidification pour éliminer l'humidité de l'air extérieur. Les parties déshumidification comportent des éléments filtres et sont prévues respectivement du côté aspiration d'air extérieur et du côté décharge d'air du corps d'un appareil. Lorsque l'humidité dans ledit corps atteint un état de saturation dû au fonctionnement d'un ventilateur, le ventilateur tourne en sens inverse pour changer la direction de ventilation par rapport à une zone à déshumidifier. Par conséquent, l'humidité stockée à l'intérieur d'une matière de déshumidification, soumise à l'air d'échappement chauffé et séché par un corps produisant de la chaleur, est déchargée vers l'extérieur, ce qui permet de récupérer la capacité d'absorption d'humidité de la matière de déshumidification.
