The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a polymerization mixture suitable as a dispersant and comprising a copolymer. In the process, a vinyloxyalkylpolyether derivative is reacted with an acid monomer derivative with formation of the copolymer in the presence of a free radical polymerization initiator by free radical polymerization, the free radical polymerization taking place in a medium which contains less than 25% by weight of water and in totality more than 60% by weight of copolymer, vinyloxyalkylpolyether derivative and acid monomer derivative.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un mélange de polymérisation contenant un copolymère et approprié pour être utilisé comme dispersant. Le procédé consiste à faire réagir un dérivé de vinyloxyalkyl-polyéther avec un dérivé de monomère acide en présence d'un amorceur de polymérisation radicalaire pour obtenir le copolymère par polymérisation radicalaire, la polymérisation radicalaire se déroulant dans un milieu contenant moins de 25 % en poids d'eau et, au total, plus de 60 % en poids de copolymère, de dérivé de vinyloxyalkyl-polyéther et de dérivé de monomère acide.
