A refractory device for use in the teeming of molten metal comprising a ceramic body having a ceramic pouring tube element (10, 20) and a ceramic support element (12, 22), said support element being adapted to be received within a metallic can (11, 21), and there is provided between said elements a pyroplastic shock-absorbing interface zone (13, 24) wherein there is provided a material the thermal properties of which are such that it is substantially solid at ambient temperatures but become deformable at the elevated temperatures experienced during metal teeming.
L'invention concerne un dispositif réfractaire prévu pour être utilisé dans la coulée de métal fondu. Ce dispositif comprend un corps de céramique pourvu d'un tube de coulée (10, 20) en céramique, et un élément de support en céramique (12, 22). Cet élément de support est adapté pour venir se loger dans un récipient métallique (11, 21). Entre lesdits éléments se trouve une zone d'interface absorbant les chocs en pyroplastique (13, 24), avec un matériau présentant des propriétés thermiques telles qu'il est sensiblement solide à température ambiante mais se déforme aux températures élevées rencontrées lors de la coulée du métal.
