A device and a method for refractive surgery, particularly LASIK, provide that the apex of the cornea is the basis for the ablation center for the refractive procedure. To this end, the dependency of the position of the apex on properties of the pupil is determined in the eye to be treated, and the position of the ablation center for the refractive surgery is computed from this dependency by means of the properties of the pupil measured.

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé destinés à la chirurgie réfractive, en particulier au LASIK, caractérisés en ce que le sommet de la cornée est pris comme centre d'ablation pour l'intervention réfractive. À cet effet, la relation entre la position du sommet et des propriétés de la pupille est déterminée pour l'oeil à traiter et cette relation est utilisée lors de la chirurgie réfractive pour calculer la position du centre d'ablation à l'aide des propriétés mesurées de la pupille.
