A device for simulteanously ensuring a rotary motion of at least two spindles (31, 32) held in parallelism within a machine comprises a shaft (60) supported within the machine in such a way that it is situated in the vicinity of both shifting spindles (31, 32). A crank (26) allows to rotate one of the spindles. In each proximity area between the shaft (60) and the spindle (32), the design includes at least a pair of identical toothed pulley, one (48) fitted permanantly on the shaft for compulsory co-rotation, the other (44) fitted on the spindle (31) equally for compulsory co-rotation. The two pulley (44, 48) are linked together by a twisted toothed belt (40).
