A device for the positioning of a bone plate against a bone comprises first and second arms (104) pivotally. connected at a first joint (114), distal ends of the first and second arms defining a gripping surface (112) for gripping the bone therebetween, proximal portions of the first and second arms extending in a first plane. An extension member (126) couples to the first and second arms at the first joint and includes a first section (128) extending distally from, the first joint parallel to the first plane and a second section (130) extending distally from the first section angled relative to the first section so that when the first and second arms are in a de-sired configuration gripping the bone, the second section extends parallel to the bone. A compression mechanism couples to the second section and includes a compression member (142) and a coupling member (136) being movable toward and away from the second section.
L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à positionner une plaque à os contre un os, comprenant des premier et second bras (104) reliés de manière pivotante à une première articulation (114), les extrémités distales des premier et second bras définissant une surface de saisie (112) pour saisir entre elles l'os, des parties proximales des premier et second bras s'étendant dans un premier plan.
