A multiple section keyboard includes a universal support for each section permitting unrestricted orientation of each section. A vertical adjustable support (16,17) includes a telescoping cylinder unit or a three point linkage support. A ball unit (19) connects the vertical support to a slide unit (20) for lateral placement. The ball unit (19) provides rotational and pivotal positioning. A lock unit is coupled to the ball unit and simultaneously locks the ball unit, the linkage unit and the slide unit in place. A separable ball connector (21) may also connect the top inner corners of two keyboards to maintain a V-shaped board configuration. Each section has a separate extendible spacer bar formed with a telescoping portion adapted to be extended outwardly and latched in place between angularly related and spaced keyboard sections. A separate number 6 key unit (98a) is provided for coupling to either section for inputting of the digit from that section. The multiple section keyboard desirably provides for some means for the rapid location, placement and securement of the sections in particular locations. To this end, the single locking structure and support for each system contributes to the practical implementation of the new keyboard unit.
Cette invention concerne un clavier à sections multiples, chacune étant montée sur un support universel permettant une orientation libre dans tous les sens. Un support réglable en hauteur (16, 17) comprend un vérin télescopique ou un montage trois-points. Une rotule (19) sert à raccorder le support vertical à une glissière (20) autorisant un déplacement latéral. Cette rotule (19) permet de faire tourner et pivoter la section de clavier correspondante. Un mécanisme de verrouillage couplé à la rotule permet de rendre celle-ci, le montage trois-points et la glissière solidaires. Un connecteur à boule démontable (21) peut être prévu pour raccorder les deux sections du clavier par leur coin supérieur intérieur et pour maintenir une configuration en V. Chaque section comprend sa propre barre d'espacement télescopique que l'on peut allonger vers l'extérieur et verrouiller en place entre les sections espacées et disposées à angle l'une par rapport à l'autre. Une touche 6 mobile (98a) peut être montée sur l'une ou l'autre section. L'objet de l'invention comprend de préférence un moyen de réglage, de positionnement et de blocage rapides des sections à la position choisie. € cette fin, chaque section est équipée d'un système de supportage à verrouillage intégré rehaussant la commodité d'emploi de l'ensemble.
