Streptogramine derivatives of general formula (I), wherein the radical R1 is a methyl or ethyl radical, the radical R2 is a bromine or chlorine atom, or is an alkenyl radical with 3 to 5 carbon atoms when R3 and R4 are methyl, and one of R3 and R4 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical and the other is a methyl radical. The streptogramine derivatives of general formula (I) have particularly useful antibacterial properties, and may be used in combination with a pristinamycin II derivative.

Dérivés de streptogramine de formule générale (I) dans laquelle le radical R1 représente un radical méthyle ou éthyle, le radical R2 représente un atome de chlore ou de brome, ou un radical alcényle contenant 3 à 5 atomes de carbone lorsque R3 et R4 sont méthyle et les symboles R3 et R4 sont l'un un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical méthyle et l'autre un radical méthyle. Les dérivés de streptogramines de formule générale (I) sont particulièrement intéressants pour leur activité antibactérienne, éventuellement en association avec un dérivé de pristinamycine II.
